Located just north of the park in beautiful Paradise Valley. This stretch of the Yellowstone offers miles and miles of freestone fishing.
The river is host to large brown trout, cutthroat, and rainbow trout - as well as the native rocky mountain whitefish.
Brown trout and rainbows range from an average of 10"-18" and up to 20"+. Cutthroat can get as large as 18".
The Yellowstone River is full of stoneflies and the banks are loaded with terrestrials making summertime a dry fly fisherman's paradise!
A typical day consists of covering roughly 10-12 miles of water on the Yellowstone with a stop for lunch. Depending on the fishing we may stop to wade, or just fish from the boat.
